As you follow the coast of the St. Lawrence down the Gaspe Peninsula, you see the Chic-choc mountains rising inland. At the very tip of the peninsula, you come to Forillon National Park, "where the mountains reach the sea".

Forillon National Park
Explore the park, with its quaint fishing villages, hiking trails, bicycling, and splendid views, or visit Perce, with its famous pierced rock lying offshore, and Bonaventure Island, a famous nesting colony of Gannets. An optional 1 ½ hr. cruise takes you to the island.

Perce - Dalhousie (275 km)
Follow the coast of the Baie des Chaleur to Miguasha Provincial Park and cross into New Brunswick. Dalhousie lies near the mouth of the Restigouche River, a well-known canoeing river.
