Day 1
UK – Calgary
Your Canada holiday starts with a departure from Heathrow for your Air Canada flight to Calgary. After arrival, you will travel by ’airporter coach’ through the rolling foothills to Banff.

Day 2
Banff
Situated o­n the doorstep of spectacular scenery, Banff nestles amidst the glory of the Canadian Rockies and boasts an attractive main street with numerous cafes and craft shops. Visit the historic hot springs and stroll along the shore of Lake Minnewanka before ascending Sulphur Mountain o­n the gondola (payable locally).

Day 3
Glacier Trail
Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour. Prepare yourself for the experience of the Columbia Icefield! Covering an expanse of 325 sq. km and reaching depths of up to 320 m, this impressive icefield forms o­ne of the largest masses of ice south of the Arctic Circle. Your route along the scenic Icefields Parkway provides a spectacular view, but you may wish to enhance your experience by venturing directly o­nto the Athabasca Glacier – which represents a substantial portion of the entire ice blanket - o­n the included ride o­n the Ice Explorer. An alpine picnic lunch is included.

Day 4
Banff – Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey offers you a spectacular range of scenery as you travel between the high peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, Craigellachie where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven and of course the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Breakfast & Lunch Included.

Day 5
Kamloops – Vancouver
Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. o­n today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes of scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and forests surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains to the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your journey ends in Vancouver arriving late afternoon. Breakfast & Lunch Included

Day 6
Vancouver
A day to explore this stunning harbour city. Renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery with breathtaking views in each, and every direction, has a bustling metropolitan core and boasts o­ne of the mildest climates in Canada. Explore the city on your included sightseeing tour visiting Stanley Park, Gastown, and Chinatown. Spend time oon Granville Island with its craft workshops and superb restaurants and for a stunning vista of Vancouver and its harbour, take the gondola up Grouse Mountain.

Day 7
Vancouver to Victoria
You will be transferred by coach and ferry across the strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island, passing the rugged coastline and tranquil beaches of the Gulf Islands Make your way to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, with its maritime heritage and colonial charm.

Day 8
Victoria
Today you will embark on an exciting whalewatching tour this coastal excursion is an exhilarating round trip of 50 to 80 kilometres in search of whales You will ride aboard a custom built Zodiac boat that offers high speed with extraordinary stability giving you an exhilarating, safe and intimate whalewatching experience overnight in Victoria

Day 9
Victoria to Tofino
Transfer by coach to tofino Your road leads across Vancouver Island to the Pacific Coast winding through ancient rainforests and provincial parks You’re venturing into true wildlife territory here: Pacific Rim National Park is a marvel of ecological and geographical diversity.

Day 10
Tofino
Today you are taking part in a thrilling bear watching expedition At low tide, board the Explorathor, a 40-passenger vessel, and speed along the lush coastline to the bears’ feeding grounds. Back on dry land, you’re free to explore the rugged coastline along the network of hiking trails or to walk the shoreline of Long Beach in search of shells and driftwood.

Day 11
Tofino to Vancouver
Depart Tofino and enjoy a scenic transfer back to Vancouver Pass by Pacific Rim National Park reserve, Cathedral Grove and several other protected areas along the way.

Day 12
Vancouver – UK
A leisurely day for some additional sightseeing or last minute shopping before a private transfer is provided to the airport and your flight home.
