Day 2
Calgary - City Sights Tour
Your city tour of Calgary will introduce you to the sights and sounds of this cosmopolitan city. You will observe both the historic and modern highlights of this dynamic and friendly city. Highlights include Fort Calgary, Scotsman Hill, admission to Canada Olympic Park and a ride up the ski-jump tower. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3
Calgary – Banff
This morning depart the Stampede city and head west by coach through the rolling foothills into the National Park and the pretty town of Banff

Days 4 – 5
Banff - Sightseeing and Evening Wildlife Safari
Situated on the doorstep of spectacular scenery, Banff nestles amidst the glory of the Canadian Rockies and boasts an attractive main street with numerous cafes and craft shops. Visit the historic hot springs on the included sightseeing tour and stroll along the shore of Lake Minnewanka before ascending Sulphur Mountain on the gondola (payable locally). Also during your stay enjoy an included Evening Wildlife Safari. Frequent sightings include black bears, bull elk, bighorn sheep and osprey.
Day 6
The Icefields Parkway – Jasper
Today enjoy a sightseeing tour along the beautiful Icefields Parkway to Jasper. The drive features superb alpine scenery. Seemingly at every turn a new vista awaits with emerald lakes, waterfalls and swiftly flowing mountain streams. You will visit the extensive Columbia Icefield, the largest formation of ice and snow in the Canadian Rockies and included is the Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier to walk on this imperceptibly moving river of ice.

Day 7
Jasper - Whitewater rafting
This 2.5hrs trip is an excellent introduction to white water rafting. Travelling approximately 9 kilometres, you will encounter many Class 2 white water rapids. Commentary on the human and natural history will be provided during the calm stretches. In rain or shine, people from ages 6 to 90 have great enjoyed this memorable experience. Join the fun and incomparable views of Jasper National Park with your National Park licensed guide on the Athabasca River. Wet suits, appropriate footwear and life jackets will be provided. Minimum age 6.
A showcase of pearly blue lakes, long ridge-top hikes, canyons and a world-class golf resort, the town of Jasper is considered a throwback to a gentler time. It's a casual reminder of the splendid grace of steamer trunks and luxurious long distance rail travel, of swarthy explorers, of intrepid Swiss mountain guides and tough talkin' miners. Today Jasper is a sleepy sanctuary, known as a refuge for bighorn sheep, elk, deer and moose - all of which have been spotted wandering its streets.
Day 8
Jasper – Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (12,972 ft) and the journey along the Thompson River as you approach your overnight destination, Kamloops. Breakfast & Lunch Included.

Day 9
Kamloops – Vancouver
Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. on today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes of scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and forests surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains to the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your journey ends in Vancouver arriving late afternoon. Breakfast and lunch included.

Days 10-11
Vancouver
The following day explore this beautiful, water-fronted city. Renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery with breathtaking views in each, and every direction, has a bustling metropolitan core and boasts one of the mildest climates in Canada. Explore the city on the included sightseeing tour visiting Stanley Park, Gastown, and Chinatown. Spend time on Granville Island with its craft workshops and superb restaurants and for a stunning vista of Vancouver and its harbour, take the gondola up Grouse Mountain.
Day 12
Vancouver to Victoria
Enjoy a ferry-cruise through the scenic Gulf Islands to the capital of British Columbia, majestic Victoria. The city is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island and is world-renowned for its charming ambience. Sometimes referred to as the “garden city” Victoria has a bustling harbour, heritage buildings and offers numerous whale-watching cruises. Visit the beautiful Butchart Gardens and explore the harbour area by horse drawn carriage or stroll amongst the narrow streets and market.

Victoria whalewatching
Enjoy an included whale-watching cruise. This coastal excursion is an exhilarating round trip of 50 to 80 kilometres in search of orcas, minke whales, grey whales, porpoises, harbour seals and other marine wildlife. You will ride aboard a 14-metre ocean cruiser or a custom-built Zodiac boat that offers high speed with extraordinary stability giving you an exhilarating, safe and intimate whalewatching experience.
