Day 2
Calgary – Banff (77 miles)
The mountains beckon. Collect your hire car from downtown before heading west into the Rockies and Banff.
Overnights(3): Banff

Days 3- 4
Banff
Sometimes regarded as one of the most attractive small towns in North America, Banff is compact enough to comfortably explore on foot. Situated on the doorstep of spectacular scenery, Banff nestles amidst the glory of the Canadian Rockies. With a wealth of attractions, ranging from the Hot Springs to the gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, Banff boasts an attractive main street with numerous cafes and craft shops.
Included Activity

Minimum age 6, maximum weight 110 kg. AS AN ALTERNATIVE you may enjoy a 12-minute helicopter ride.

Day 5
Banff – Jasper (175 miles)
Enjoy a spectacular drive today through stunning scenery along the Icefields Parkway. En route visit the Columbia Icefield, the largest accumulation of snow and ice in the Rockies and take the ‘snocoach’ ride onto the Athabasca Glacier. Lake Louise, with its sparkling blue waters and mountain goats on Mount Fairview, is also worth a stop as are the thundering Athabasca Falls.
Overnights(3): Jasper

Days 6-7
Jasper
Enjoy a day at leisure to delight in the peaceful, magnificent surroundings of Jasper National Park. A showcase of glacial blue lakes, long ridge-top hikes, canyons and a world-class golf resort, the town of Jasper is a sleepy sanctuary, known as a refuge for bighorn sheep, elk, deer and moose - all of which have been spotted wandering its streets. A trip to the exquisite Maligne Lake, the second largest glacier-fed lake in the Rockies, is well recommended where a cruise will take you past glacier-studded mountain peaks to world-famous Spirit Island.
Included Activity:
This trip is an excellent introduction to white water rafting. Travelling approximately 9-kilometres, you will encounter many Class 2 white water rapids. Commentary on the human and natural history will be provided during the calm stretches. In rain or shine, people from ages 6 to 90 have greatly enjoyed this memorable experience. Join the fun and incomparable views of Jasper National Park with your National Park licensed guide on the Athabasca River. Wet suits, appropriate footwear and life jackets will be provided. Minimum age 6.

Day 8
Jasper –Kamloops (295 miles)
Drive west and then south along the scenic Yellowhead Highway with views of Mt. Terry Fox, Tete Jaune Cache and, at 3954 m. Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. A visit to Wells Gray Park, accessed from Clearwater, en route is recommended. Here you’ll discover a multitude of rapids, cataracts and waterfalls – two of the most spectacular being Dawson Falls and Helmcken Falls.
Overnight(1): Kamloops- Lac Le Jeune Resort

Day 9
Kamloops – Whistler (199 miles)
Meander through “Gold Rush Country”, passing Cache Creek and Lillooet. Both townships are rich in historic lore, dating back to the days when wagon trains and prospectors followed the trail to the Cariboo Gold Fields in the 1800's. However, Cache Creek owes its origins, and name, to the earlier fur traders who cached, or stored, their furs in the area before taking them east to trade.
Overnights(3): Whistler

Days 10-11
Whistler
Established in the late 19th Century, with just half a dozen wooden huts as a remote honeymoon resort beside a lake, Whistler today is a top mountain resort, nestling between world-renowned Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The natural setting of Whistler offers numerous activities from winter sports to golf, hiking, fishing, canoeing and mountain biking in the summer. The pedestrian only Whistler Village has superb dining, intriguing shops, boutiques and sunny sidewalk cafes as well as, for the young at heart, a vibrant nightlife.
Included Activity:
Take a 2 hour guided ride on an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) through the Hidden Valley between Whistler and the Blackcomb Mountains. Experience spectacular views of surrounding valleys, glacier peaks, forest canopy and the unique local wildlife. This tour is a perfect introduction to ATVs for first-time riders and a great mix of easy riding and spectacular scenery. Participants must have a valid driver’s licence. Minimum age 16, one rider per vehicle
OR
Canoeing in Whistler (3 hours)

Tours run regularly throughout the day, and in almost all weather conditions. Minimum age 7, minimum weight 30 kg, maximum weight 136 kg
Day 12
Whistler – Vancouver (78 miles)
Head south through Squamish on the beautiful Sea to Sky Highway, which skirts Howe Sound, into sparkling Vancouver. For those interested in railroad history Squamish is home to the West Coast Railroad Heritage Park with numerous locomotives, items of rolling stock and rescued railroad buildings from British Columbia.
Overnights(3): Vancouver

Days 13-14
Vancouver
Renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery with breathtaking views in each and every direction, has a bustling metropolitan core and boasts one of the mildest climates in Canada. There are numerous attractions, all within easy reach of downtown; visit Stanley Park, Gastown, Chinatown and Granville Island with its craft workshops and superb restaurants.

Marcia, Thought I would drop you a line to give you feedback on the holiday we have just returned from. Everything was absolutely fantastic - Canada is such a beautiful country and the agenda of the holiday enabled us to take in so much in what is effectively a whistle stop tour of the Rockies. Every aspect of the trip ran perfectly with all bookings for accommodation and activities running seamlessly. The "compact" car was vast - I don't think they have quite grasped European compact yet and it sure helped eat up the miles in comfort. All hotels were clean and comfortable - we did request a change in Banff due to a lack of curtain/blind in a sky light which meant the dawn sun streamed in. That said the hotel was more than accommodating and actually gave us the honeymoon suite for a night in compensation ! The info pack was invaluable and the maps and directions ensured we remained on track throughout. All activities were excellent - we did require JonView to reconfirm our whale watching booking as struggled with the number supplied but they were there at the end of the line and resolved the issue in minutes and called straight back. I would recommend you try to add "Zip Trekking" to your list of activities - it was our only addition to your agenda in Whistler and was one of the most memorable experiences of the break! Many thanks again - a great holiday and service. Matt Southampton

Hi Mike Have just returned from our holiday and can confirm that I did receive a call informing me of the $250 refund. At this time I would like to thank you for the time and effort you put in to making our holiday a good one, (despite the let down with the car which was obviously outside your control, disappointing as we would have liked a large luxury car) The trip was excellent and the programme ran really well. Believe it or not we even had time to fit a few extra activities in!! We enjoyed them, but not sure if my credit card did!! All in all thanks Mike and your team for a excellent holiday which will always be remembered. Regards M & D S Kendal, Cumbria
