Guide to Maritime Canada
Historical Maritime Canada is known for its great coastline, popular islands and distinguished culture. Picturesque maritime scenery is to be found in Nova Scotia, along with historical artefacts from Atlantic Canada's past. The area has many national parks where, it often seems, only the changes of the seasons mark the passage of time. From the taiga and tundra landscapes in the north to the myriad of lakes winding through forested hills of the Laurentian Mountains and the dramatic coastline of the Gaspe Peninsula, Eastern Canada is still largely undiscovered.
