Day 1 - UK – Halifax
Your Canada holiday starts with a departure from Heathrow on a scheduled Air Canada flight to Halifax. Individual transfer to your centrally-located hotel. After a checkin the remainder of the day is free. This evening meet your fellow travelers and Tour Director at a welcome reception.

Day 2 - Halifax to Port Aux Basques
Travel via Truro and Antigonish to cross over the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton Island. In North Sydney, board a Marine Atlantic ferry for a relaxing crossing to Port aux Basques, your port of entry on the island of Newfoundland. Breakfast & Lunch Included

Day 3 - Port aux Basques to Port Au Choix
The drive through the Codroy Valley, framed by the Long Range Mountains, the Anguille Mountains, and the Atlantic Ocean, and stop for a breif tour in Corner Brook, the largest city on the west coast. Our journey continues through Gros Morne National Park and into the fishing community of Port au Choix, where we'll visit the Port au Choix National Historic Site before checking into the hotel for the evening. Day 4 - Port au Choix to L'Anse au Clair
Today travel board a ferry at St. Barbe and cross the Strait of Belle Island on our way to Labrabor. We visit Red Bay National Park Site, location of a Basque whaling station in the 16th century. Breakfast & Dinner included

Day 5 - L'Anse au Clair to St. Anthony
Today, return to Newfoundland and travel to L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, an archaeological site marking the earliest known European settlement in North America. Now a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site, additional exhibits also showcase Viking artifacts and give a fascinating glimps into the Viking lifestyle. This evening, enjoy a memorable Viking feast! Day 6 - St. Anthony to Cow Head
This morning (weather-permitted) you will take a whalewatching boat tour hoping for sightings of these giant marine mammals. During certain summer months titanic-sized icebergs can also be spotted. Don't forget your camera! We then continue on to Cow Head, our destnation for the night. Breakfast & Dinner Included

Day 7 - Gros Morne/Cow Head
Today you will visit Gros Morne National Park, offering a rich variety of scenery, wildlife, and recreational activities. We'll stop at the Broom Point fishing exhibit and Lobster Cove Lighthouse, and partake in a scenic boat tour where you will learn about the geology of the Tablelands, see the whales and bald eagles that frequent the deep waters of the fjord, and engage in the history of the small village nestled along the shores. Day 8 - Cow Head to Gander
Travel through central Newfoundland towards Gander and visit the Mary March Regional Museum in Grand Falls–Windsor where displays focus on aboriginals and the creation of the modern paper industry. Arrive in Gander where you will check into your hotel for a relaxing evening. Breakfast & Dinner Included

Day 9 - Gander/Twillingate
A scenic drive along the rocky coast of Notre Dame Bay leads to the beautiful outport of Twillingate. At the tip of the island, visit Long Point Lighthouse and the local co-op. Head back to Gander, where you will visit the North Atlantic Aviation Museum. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included
Day 10 - Gander to Clarenville
Head out on the Trans-Canada Highway to visit Terra Nova National Park, the most easterly of Canada’s beautiful national parks. Keep your camera close at hand for wildlife along the way. Arrive in the capital city of St. John’s and enjoy a sightseeing tour of this city with highlights that include the Victorian architecture of the downtown area, the busy modern waterfront, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Confederation Building, and the panoramic view from Signal Hill. Day 11 - Clarenville - St. John’s
In Brigus, visit Hawthorne Cottage National Historic Site and learn about the adventures of world famous explorer Captain Bob Bartlett. Continue to Bay Bulls for one of the highlights of your trip …a boat tour to the Witless Bay bird sanctuary (weather permitting). This morning, enjoy an intriguing tour of this old seaport – St. John’s.
