Day 1 - UK – Calgary
Your Canada holiday starts with a departure from Heathrow for Air Canada flight to Calgary. On arrival a private transfer will be provided to your centrally located hotel. Widely regarded as the “gateway to the Rockies”, and home to the famous Stampede, Calgary is a stylish and friendly city. Its history comes alive at Heritage Park, Canada's largest living historical village, at the Glenbow Museum and at the site of Calgary's birthplace, Fort Calgary. Discover Canada Olympic Park, site of the 1988 Olympics and travel to the top of the ski-jump tower or, for a spectacular view of the city’s heart, ascend Calgary tower.
Day 2 - Calgary – Banff
This morning leave Calgary and travel west by coach through the rolling foothills to beautiful Banff, set in the Rocky Mountains.
Day 3 - Banff
Situated on the doorstep of spectacular scenery, Banff nestles amidst the glory of the Canadian Rockies and boasts an attractive main street with numerous cafes and craft shops. Visit the historic hot springs on the included sightseeing tour and stroll along the shore of Lake Minnewanka before ascending Sulphur Mountain on the gondola (payable locally).
Day 4 - Banff – Lake Louise
Today a short transfer by coach brings you to the pretty town of Lake Louise. The rest of your day is at leisure to walk around the picturesque lake with it's beautiful turquiose waters.

Day 5 - Lake Louise
Lake Louise, with its blue-green water set against the stark backdrop of Victoria Glacier, is probably the most photographed scene in the Canadian Rockies. The village of Lake Louise holds an array of fine dining and shopping.
Day 6 - Lake Louise – Jasper
Today you travel the Icefields Parkway through the natural wonders of Banff and Jasper National Parks. Spectacular glaciers, cascading waterfalls, turquoise lakes and colourful meadows dot this awe-inspiring mountain wilderness. The snow-capped peaks and endless mountain ridges are home to a wide variety of wildlife, including bears, wolves, deer and eagles. The tour stops at the Columbia Icefield where you have time to included ride the Ice Explorer onto the massive Athabasca Glacier (included).
Day 7 - Jasper
A showcase of pearly blue lakes, long ridge-top hikes, canyons and a world-class golf resort, the town of Jasper is a sleepy sanctuary, known as a refuge for bighorn sheep, elk, deer and moose - all of which have been spotted wandering its streets. Today enjoy an included excursion where you will experience Jasper National Park by travelling the trails of the early explorers and view the park’s unspoiled grandeur. You will begin along the mighty Athabasca Canadian Heritage River learning about David Thompson and the valley ecosystem. Hike above Maligne Canyon, with its narrow gorge and limestone walls created by 10,000 years of water erosion and visit a place of mystery and Indian legend at Medicine Lake. You are sure to see a variety of mountain wildlife.
Day 8 - Jasper – Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (12,972 ft) and the journey along the Thompson River as you approach your overnight destination, Kamloops. Day 9 - Kamloops – Vancouver
Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. on today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes of scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and forests surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains to the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your journey ends in Vancouver arriving late afternoon. Day 10 - Vancouver
Renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery with breathtaking views in each and every direction, has a bustling metropolitan core and boasts one of the mildest climates in Canada. Enjoy all the city has offer with your included flexible city tour. Highlights of downtown Vancouver, including major attractions, and scenic points of interest. Tickets are valid for two consecutive days, and the convertible clear top buses offer stunning views, rain or shine. Choose to Hop-Off at any of the 20 plus stops, and Hop-On again to continue the tour. Take an up close and personal look at Vancouver’s urban oasis, Stanley Park, have lunch at Granville Island, visit the historical Gastown or the trendy Yaletown, and don’t forget Robson Street to do a little shopping! Highlights of the route include English Bay, Stanley Park, Granville Island, Yaletown, Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, and the Entertainment District.
