Day 1 - UK – Calgary
Your Canada holiday starts with a departure from Heathrow on an Air Canada flight to Calgary - regional departures are available on request. On arrival a private transfer will be provided to your centrally situated hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Calgary – Banff
This morning depart the Stampede city and head west by coach through the rolling foothills into the National Park and the pretty town of Banff and your hotel.

Days 3-4 - Banff
Situated on the doorstep of spectacular scenery, Banff nestles amidst the glory of the Canadian Rockies and boasts an attractive main street with numerous cafes and craft shops. Visit the the best of Banff on the included sightseeing tour and Discover the town and its unspoiled natural surroundings. The highlights include Bow Falls, the hoodoos that are curiously shaped by centuries of erosion, Surprise Corner, Tunnel Mountain Drive which overlooks the beautiful scenery of the Bow River Valley, and the magnificent Lake Minnewanka.
Day 5 - The Icefields Parkway – Lake Louise - Jasper
Today enjoy a sightseeing tour along the beautiful Icefields Parkway to Jasper. Travel the Icefields Parkway through the natural splendour of Banff and Jasper national parks. Spectacular glaciers, cascading waterfalls, turquoise lakes and colourful meadows dot this awe-inspiring mountain wilderness. The snow-capped peaks and endless mountain ridges are home to a wide variety of wildlife, including bears, wolves, deer and eagles. The tour stops at the Columbia Icefield where you will venture by Ice Explorer onto the massive Athabasca Glacier. Other brief sightseeing stops include an opportunity to photograph the turquoise waters of picturesque Lake Louise. Ice Explorer, Glacier Skywalk and lunch are included. Visitors will take a shuttle from the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre 6.5 km to the new Glacier Skywalk. The glass-floored platform extends 30 m out over the Sunwapta Canyon. Visitors can also enjoy the interpretive stations along the 500 m long Discovery Trail that leads to and from the viewpoint. Experience waterfalls, wildlife, fossils and more on an existing cliff-edge walkway that leads to a platform where glass is all that separates visitors from a 277 m drop.. Afterwards the tour coach will continue to your Jasper hotel.

Day 6-7 - Jasper
A showcase of pearly blue lakes, long ridge-top hikes, canyons and a world-class golf resort, the town of Jasper is considered a throwback to a gentler time. It's a casual reminder of the splendid grace of steamer trunks and luxurious long distance rail travel, of swarthy explorers, of intrepid Swiss mountain guides and tough talkin' miners. Today Jasper is a sleepy sanctuary, known as a refuge for bighorn sheep, elk, deer and moose - all of which have been spotted wandering its streets. Today enjoy an included excursion where you will experience Jasper National Park by travelling the trails of the early explorers and view the park’s unspoiled grandeur. You will begin along the mighty Athabasca Canadian Heritage River learning about David Thompson and the valley ecosystem. Hike above Maligne Canyon, with its narrow gorge and limestone walls created by 10,000 years of water erosion and visit a place of mystery and Indian legend at Medicine Lake. You are sure to see a variety of mountain wildlife.
Day 8 - Jasper – Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer train to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (12,972 ft) and the journey along the Thompson River as you approach your overnight destination. On arrival into Kamloops you will be transferred by coach to your overnight hotel. Breakfast & Lunch Included.

Day 9 - Kamloops – Vancouver
Returning to the Rocky Mountaineer train, your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes of scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and forests surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains to the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your journey ends in Vancouver arriving late afternoon. Days 10-11 - Vancouver
Renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery with breathtaking views in each and every direction, has a bustling metropolitan core and boasts one of the mildest climates in Canada. Enjoy all the city has offer with your included flexible city tour. Highlights of downtown Vancouver, including major attractions, and scenic points of interest. Tickets are valid for two consecutive days, and the convertible clear top buses offer stunning views, rain or shine. Choose to Hop-Off at any of the 20 plus stops, and Hop-On again to continue the tour. Take an up close and personal look at Vancouver’s urban oasis, Stanley Park, have lunch at Granville Island, visit the historical Gastown or the trendy Yaletown, and don’t forget Robson Street to do a little shopping! Highlights of the route include English Bay, Stanley Park, Granville Island, Yaletown, Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, and the Entertainment District. Days 12-13 - Victoria
Today you will travel by coach to the port and enjoy a ferry-cruise through the scenic Gulf Islands to the capital of British Columbia, majestic Victoria. The city is situated on the southern tip of Vancouver Island and is world-renowned for its charming ambience. Sometimes referred to as the “garden city” Victoria has a bustling harbour, heritage buildings and offers numerous whale-watching cruises. Visit the beautiful Butchart Gardens and explore the harbour area by horse drawn carriage or stroll amongst the narrow streets and market.

Enjoy a leisurely day, allowing time for last minute sightseeing or shopping before you transfer by airporter coach to Victoria airport and your flight home.
