Day 1 - UK – Toronto
Your Canada holiday starts with a departure from Heathrow for your Air Canada flight to Toronto - (Regional departures are available on request). On arrival there is an included private transfer to your centrally situated hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Niagara Falls
Departing from your Toronto hotel, the Niagara Falls full day tour will bring you to one of Canada’s most spectacular sights. The tour makes it's way to Niagara through the towns of Hamilton, "the steel capital of Canada", St. Catharines "the fruit basket of Ontario", and the wine region of the Niagara Peninsula. An ample amount of time will be spent at the falls to give you every opportunity to take pictures and admire the thundering waters. Included is a thrilling boat ride on the Hornblower cruise* for a unique view of the spectacular Horseshoe Falls. Other highlights include a panoramic lunch at Sheraton on the Falls and a trip along the beautiful Niagara Parkway which winds its way along the Niagara Gorge passing through the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, voted “Canada’s Prettiest Town”. *Prior to May 15 and after Oct 15, Hornblower cruise will be substituted with The Journey Behind the Falls.*
Day 3 - Toronto
With an unmistakable skyline, marked by the CN Tower (the largest freestanding structure in the world) Toronto’s newly renovated Harbourfront Centre is the hub of Toronto’s maritime community and the historic Parliament buildings bear witness to the city’s past. Build your own Toronto experience with the freedom of our Hop-On-Hop-Off City Tour aboard a London-Style Double Decker Bus or Trolley. Let the friendly and knowledgeable tour guides educate you on the fun facts and history of Toronto as they take you through the city with stops at / near all major hotels in the downtown area. Day 4 - Toronto – Calgary
Today you will be transferred by private sedan to the airport in good time for your flight across Canada to Alberta and Calgary. On arrival, a transfer by private car is provided to your centrally located hotel.

Day 5 - Calgary
Widely regarded as the “Gateway to the Rockies”, and home to the famous Stampede, Calgary is a stylish and friendly city. Your morning is at leisure to start to explore this city of contrasts or for some shopping. Visit TD Square, the Eaton Centre or Hudson’s Bay shopping areas, all of which are linked by Calgary’s Plus 15 walkway system. In the afternoon why not take a guided sightseeing tour of the highlights of Calgary – Scotsman Hill, Fort Calgary (the original base of the North West Mounted Police), Stampede Park, the Saddledome and Ski Jump Tower at Olympic Park?
Day 6 - Calgary – Banff (74 miles)
this morning collect your hire car and before heading west through the rolling foothills to the Rockies and Banff, discover Canada Olympic Park, site of the 1988 Olympics and travel to the top of the ski-jump tower.

Days 7-8 - Banff
Situated on the doorstep of spectacular scenery, the town of Banff nestles amidst the glory of the Canadian Rockies. With a wealth of attractions, ranging from the Hot Springs to the gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, Banff boasts an attractive main street with numerous cafes and craft shops. Renowned for its winter activities, Banff is also the summer “gateway” to National Parks and the scenic splendour of the Icefields Parkway.
Day 9 - Banff – Jasper (173 miles)
Drive through superb scenery along the Icefields Parkway. First pay a visit to beautiful Lake Louise before visiting the Columbia Icefield, the largest accumulation of snow and ice in the Rockies and, weather permitting, why not take the ‘Ice Explorer’ ride onto the Athabasca Glacier to walk on this imperceptibly moving river of ice.

Days 10-11 - Jasper
A showcase of pearly blue lakes, long ridge-top hikes, canyons and a world-class golf resort, the town of Jasper is a sleepy sanctuary, known as a refuge for bighorn sheep, elk, deer and moose - all of which have been spotted wandering its streets. A trip to the exquisite Maligne Lake, the second largest glacier-fed lake in the Rockies, is well recommended where a cruise will take you past glacier-studded mountains peaks to world-famous Spirit Island. Return your hire car to the depot in the afternoon.
Day 12 - Jasper – Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer train to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 metres (12,972 ft) and the journey along the Thompson River as you approach your overnight destination, Kamloops where you will be transferred by coach to your overnight hotel. Day 13 - Kamloops – Vancouver
After being returned to the Rocky Mountaineer, your tour continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes of scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and forests surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains to the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your journey ends in Vancouver arriving late afternoon.

Day 14 - Vancouver
Today you will travel by coach and ferry through the scenic Gulf Islands to the capital of British Columbia, stately Victoria. Spend some time around the Inner Harbour with shops and restaurants tucked into restored, historic buildings.

Enjoy an included Whale Watching excursion this morning. In the afternoon continue exploring Victoria. Established in 1843 by the Hudson's Bay Company as a British fur trading post the city still retains a 19th Century charm and is the capital of British Columbia. Bastion Square marks the location of the original Fort Victoria and is now home to the Maritime Museum of British Columbia. The majestic Parliament Buildings and the Fairmont Empress on the inner harbour are historic landmarks recognised worldwide. With its mild climate, Victoria is often referred to as the "Garden City" and visits to the nearby famous Burchart Gardens will not disappoint.
Day 16 - Victoria - Vancouver
Depart from Victoria's waterfront and fly by scenic floatplane to Vancouver Harbour. On arrival, the remainder of your day is at leisure.

Renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery with breathtaking views in each and every direction, has a bustling metropolitan core and boasts one of the mildest climates in Canada. Enjoy all the city has offer with your included flexible city tour. Highlights of downtown Vancouver, including major attractions, and scenic points of interest. Tickets are valid for two consecutive days, and the convertible clear top buses offer stunning views, rain or shine. Choose to Hop-Off at any of the 20 plus stops, and Hop-On again to continue the tour.
